Driver and Assistants

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable carer/assistance/companion to provide transportation and companion services for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the care industry and possess a caring attitude towards those in need of support.

Our customers have additional accessibility requirements, we provide transportation and assistance to support a free, independent and fulfilling life.

Responsibilities

– Safely transport individuals to medical appointments, social outings, and other destinations

– Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle

– Assist customers with everyday tasks

– Provide companionship and emotional support

– Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies

Experience

– Previous experience in nursing, senior care, or home care is highly desirable

– Familiarity with first aid procedures and medication administration

– Knowledge of dementia care practices is advantageous

– Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to passengers

– A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record

– An active DBS update service subscription is advantageous to speed up application

– Valid Private Hire Licence is preferred but not essential
